Yesterday was the most difficult day I've had, that I had to get up early in the morning, making sure every single dish for the feast would be under my control
- leaving home early for church to have a practice before leading the singing in the morning service
- making sure everyone who I had invited would come (eventually one can't come, and he didn't tell me till the last minute.)
- trying to start a fire for the BBQ -attempting to make all 11 courses, eventually ended up like 10
-going for the evening service -washing dishes till midnight, fun fun fun! Thankfully one good friend of mine came back and helped me till 9:30, but still..... (People left me with all the dirty dishes coz they had to go for either the evening service or the Origin event, and I must say it was quite late by the time we finished.)
The most difficult part was that I had to do both cooking and washing. To remind you again, there were 10 people. Anyway................
And it was a shame that I didn't had much conversation with them coz I had to keep going into the kitchen from time to time, or, perhaps, it was good for them that they didn't have to listen to my boring "lectures" on Scottish Presbyterianism/Theology in general. Well, who knows!
In fact, I enjoy having folks around on a Sabbath day.
Over all, I’m so grateful and thankful to Christ our Blessed Saviour, for He has triumphed over sin, death, and Satan, through the Cross of Calvary, that His resurrection power gives us hope and comfort, and unity. As His people, we can gather together to praise Him for the great things He has done for us. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8”
Well, I better to study for the Hebrew test, Cheers!
