Well, I have found my family history can go back to 155 A.D. or even earlier. My ancestor was called Xiahou Dun from mainland China and he was a warlord. Long story short, for some reasons his son , the first king of Wei, changed his surname from Xiahou (Hahou, HK pronouncation) to Cao/Cho (Tso).
One funny thing is that if I wanted to Scottishize my surname, it would be McHahou, so cool!
Just crazy thoughts I have got in the midst of my busy week! Cheers!
