This week hasn't been as productive as I would have wished. (always like this.) I still haven't done, even, my first Bible study on the book of Jonah. (I expect 3-4 studies altogether.) Well, I have been struggling with the overview, wondering whether it should be detailed or not. However, Prof. Mackay's book has been so helpful to me.

Yesterday was the most difficult day for me. I found out there was a gas leak in the kitchen, from the top oven, so eventually someone came and disconnected the gas cooker. But the down side is that I might have to phone the church members, whom I have invited, not to come on Sunday, if the gasman won't come tomorrow to have the cooker fixed.( I've bought 4 lamb shoulders already!!!!!!!!!)

Having said all these, I enjoy using the grill function of the microwave and the BBQ. However, one microwave , by no means, can cope with 7 people on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to seeing Revd Tim Horn, with whom I work in the last year placement in Cheltenham, on Sunday, as he's going to preach to us.
